trying to trace mcconnochie family who stayed at colmonell around 1880 1920
they later appear as bankers at girvan and ayr.

Following are entries for Thomas McConnochie and family - 1891 and 1901 censuses:

1891 -  Girvan
Thomas  Royal Bank House  Head  M  45  Bank Agent  Employed  b. Colmonell, Ayrshire
Agnes     Wife  M  38  b. England
William    Son          2  b. Girvan Ayrshire
(there are also 2 servants recorded)

1901 -  Girvan
Thomas  Royal Bank HOuse  Head  Widower 55  Bank Agent b. Colmonell
William   Son  12
Agnes     Dau    2 (I think)
(there are also 3 servants recorded)

This family is Not on the 1881 census for the whole of Scotland.
