Hi tommo,

Just to try and get all the info together to try and help.

What info do you have that brings them to Westmorland?  Have you birth or census info that places any of your folks in this county?

Thanks,
Pam

Hi,

Have you seen the whole family in the 1881 census at Familysearch?

Alfred, 40
Sarah, 38
John, 16
George, 14
Alfred, 12
Fanny, 9
Emma, 6
James, 3
Mary J., 10m

All born Chepstow Monmouth and living at 1 Horse Lane.

This should give a few more clues.

Hiya,

I think rather than spark a new thread where kind hearts will do the same look ups you have already requested on other threads it mabe better to consolidate the knowledge you have..

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,60671.msg244656.html#msg244656

That way you can target your searches with a better degree of certainty - some look ups take quite a long time  Undecided

All the best,
Pam
