Worton and Hingley

Joshua WORTON married Ann Maria Hingley in 1865 in Tipton. Ann Maria died in 1870 in Dudley and Joshua remarried in 1872.

Ann Maria's parents were James Hingley and Ann Haden? they lived in Dudley.

Joshua's parents were John Worton and True Williams married Dudley St Thomas in 1825. The Wortons moved between Staffordshire and Worcestershire, later moving to Durham for a while, back to Worsc/Staffs, Yorkshire and then to Scotland.

I am trying to findout if they had any children. As they married and Ann Maria died between two censuses it does not help!!!!!

Is anyone else out there interested in these two families?

   I've looked for Joshua in 1871, sorry unable to find him, but,
could this be your Anne Marie.

That is Anne Maria and family. After Anne Maria died in 1970 Jshua went to live with his brother in Yorkshire and he is there in the 1871 cenus. I still do not know if they had any children  from 1865 - 1870. that is the question!!!

Thank you for taking the time to look that up for me. It is the correct family as James and Ann are living at the same address in 1871.

I have a host of Hadens, from Heath Town/Wednesfield.  Still looking for the whereabouts of Samuel who was imprisoned for deserting the family around 1903.....
