John Frazer (Fraser) of Inverness
« on: Tuesday 24 May 05 18:44 UTC (UK) »

Can anyone help me here?

My GGG grandad was born in c. 1780 in Inverness and named John Frazer (Fraser).  By 1799 he had joined the 72nd regiment of the foot and married Catherine Sword, in Perth.  I think that his mother may have been a Rattray and his fathers name may have been John also....

I know that they hold a record of him at Kew but I can't get there!!

Anyone think they have any ideas, I'd be delighted tohear from you.
