Can anyone help?

We are trying to do the family tree, to which we have connections to the surname of Pickard. The person that we have in our tree is a

James Pickard b. abt 1869 Clackmannanshire or Stirlingshire, Scotland.

He married in 1895 Hull, East Yorks an, Annie Elizabeth Johnson Norris b. abt 1874 in Brixham, Devon.

We are lead to believe that James Pickard b abt 1869, worked mostly at sea, possibly on Whaling ships.

If any one can help with this family, we would be very grateful for any information.

Have you tried the Scotland People website

www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

it's pay-per view, but you should find james birth records which will hopefully tell you where his parents were married. Never know you might find their marriage as well
