Halpin Burial - Help Please

I am new to Rootschat and would greatly appreciate help in tracing a burial. I have been trying to find the burial of one Anne Halpin (nee Boland). She died in Garden Street Ballina, Co Mayo on 5th January 1885. She was a Catholic but her husband James was a Protestant which confuses things. I feel I have tried every avenue but maybe someone out there will have some ideas. I have her death certificate but no success with a burial location. I am hoping she is buried with her husband James ( another elusive ancestor).

Any help would be brilliant

Yes, I'm still plodding on looking for the burial but I don't think I have much hope. I'm running out of options and I suspect Anne Halpin didn't have a headstone. I am surprised there was no entry for her burial. As to what happened to James Halpin, well I'm still looking. I don't know when he died or even where. If you or anyone has any suggestions they would be gratefully received.

Hello Arundel.  I to have been searching for Cemeteries in Ballina and stumbled across the Liegue Cemetery, Ballina.  Apparantly its one of the oldest.  I phoned them yesterday for information regarding records etc, but there is nothing available - yet.  They are hoping to start cataloging in the next 6 months.  No help to either of us at the moment.  The caretaker said the only thing you can do is visit it and do your own research!!  Good luck in your search.  Dee

were the children reared in the Catholic faith or possibly as non denominational Huh
I am wondering.. if James died after Anne would he be buried in Co. Louth Huh
