Would someone please help me by looking up the 1861 Census for Canonbie and Langholm. I am looking for a David Armstrong age 2 on the 1861 Census in Canonbie. David Armstrong was on the 1881 Census and was 22 years old. I am also looking for a David Hutton age 2 in the 1861 Langholm Census . David Hutton's mother would have been Euphemia Hutton. If no one is able to look up this information, does anyone know when the 1861 Census will be available? Thank you in advance.

Do you have their families in 1851?

This may help trying to find them on a film.
At the moment that is the only source for 1861, it is unindexed. I believe Scotlandspeople is working on the 1861 but I haven't seen anything that commits them to a date.

Hi Hannah,
David Armstrong may be boarding with the Graham family in Lochmaben - do you have this information now?
And there is a David Hutton with his parents John and Mimie in Canonbie -could this be him? This is the only David in DFS.
Let me know if you need more info,
