I am looking for any information on Harriette Muirhead born around 1890 in Wexford,she went to Scotland about 1904,and then emigrated to Montreal with her husband William Russell of the Highland Regiment around 1910,I would be really gratefull if anyone can help me,Thanks a lot Bethan

Hello Bethan,

I looked in http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php and found no Muirheads in Ireland during the period 1848-64 Griffith's Valustion of Ireland. It looks this family came to Ireland between then and the date when Harriette was born. Since she went to Scotland when she was 14 years of age I wonder if the family came from Scotland between 1864 and 1890.

Thanks a lot Christopher, I am slowly coming to the conclusion that Harriette did originate in Scotland, when I get a little more time I intend to follow up this lead, Thank you again for looking for me
