Wilsons and Maxwells HELP PLEASE!!!

I wonderd if anyone could help me with more info on this family.Thomas Wilson married Anne Maxwell probably Glencairn as their children were born there,i dont know when they married but i know Thomas was born 1811 Kirkpatrick Durham.I have an 1851 census for {Lane off the high street}Sanquer,Ann and Thomas are listed with their 7 daughters and also Anns mother Elizabeth Maxwell aged 65 a pauper and widow born in Glencairn about 1786.What i would like to know is how can i find Anns fathers name and her mothers maiden name when all i have is a christian name to go on.Also how can i find Thomas Wilsons parents.Thomas and Anns first child also named Ann was born in Glencairn in 1834.Thankyou.Anne.
