Metropolitan and Non - Metropolitan Middlesex
For those unfamiliar with the terms, here is a brief explanation.

Metropolitan Middlesex is all of that part of the county of Middlesex, which was transferred to the newly formed county of London in 1889.  Non-metropolitan Middlesex is all of that part of the county of Middlesex which remained after that date.  These are the registration districts, which form non-metropolitan Middlesex.
