Expert Helps please

Could one of the experts help me please with this photo not good quailty I`m afraid.best the person could scan as they dont know how to use the scanner.I`ve tried  and tried and made a pigs ear off it.Asked if I could loan the orginal but was told know.Its the only photo of my gran and great uncle they have. Have asked for a rescan but the lady said she`s scanned it once and thats it.

If you want an expert we had better leave it to deadants (the master)  Smiley Naaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! lets have a go.

It is a real shame you cannot rescan the picture, it would be pounds better

Well You seem to have done a pretty good job on this one Ken. Maybe  a sepia tone to give it a bit of  a lift. It does pose a problem when there is no access to the original. Unfortunatley the size you see on the screen is about the size you will be able to print out.

Thanks lads tried to get on last night to thank you but couldnt get in roots kept saying to busy.
both are good jobs better than my feeble atempt.Will have to sweet talk and see if she`ll send me the orginal recorded delivery so it doesnt get lost
