Ticklerton
« on: Friday 03 June 05 23:22 BST (UK) »

Does anybody out there know of a village in Shropshire called Ticklerton ?  I see from the l851 census that my g.g.grandfather was an inn-keeper there.  The Inn is not mentioned by name, but I was hoping someone might know if an Inn in Ticklerton in l851 still exists Huh?

Heres hoping !!!

Hi Beth,

Ticklerton is close to Church Stretton in South Shropshire.
I have no idea whether there is a pub still there. I did try a google search but nothing came up for one so I would presume that it is has gone sadly.

Beth

I couldn't resist having a nose at the Shropshire Virtual Website, and see that you have had a reply - how wonderful!!

It must be good to find out that it was The Horseshoes Cheesy
