Hi All,
My Great Granduncle had a boot and shoe shop at "Bridgefoot" Ware.
I am trying to find this place on a current map of Ware - I have old photos saying they are taken from the eastern end of High St, looking towards "Bridgefoot" - so know its general area - but where in Ware!!
Does anyone know of a current picture of this area?

Thanks for that link - but I had been there - good site but not with the information I need!
It even has a Street search engine - but Bridgefoot is not in that either.

Hi Keith
Think you will find its at junction where high street goes over Bridge to Amwell end I know there is a pub just there called the Sacrens Head very near Star street.

Thats it!!
Many thanks for that link - think that means "MY" shop is opposite this new development - better get a photo of that before they knock it down!!
I am trying to get some old/new photos of the same buildings - any other links??
