Any help in finding the death of John Edington, Master Mariner, who resided in Greenock, born about 1780, definitely died before 1851. Wife was Mary Ann but she didn't die until the 1860s in Glasgow. John could have died anytime after 1814 and up to 1851. Thanks, even if it is only a look at the Greenock cemeteries, any help would be great.

Hi mk 2 Love the car 8)in regard to your Mark Edington.Have you tried looking for him on the I.G.I for Scotland, On Family search? My G.Grandmother came from Glasgow.I don't know what i would have done without the I.G.I in my early years of research. It certainly helped me learn how to use these records. Now i cant do without them I am only passing through here, but if you need any help. come back there will be someone around to offer some help.I will have a quick look myself for John,
