I was having problems with the grey screen but everything's fine now  Cheesy I have Windows 98 and Internet explorer 5.5

I'm using Windows XP with IE6.0 and it works fine with that.

However, i also have netscape 7.2 installed, and the screen is too small for the rootschat page. ie there is a scroll bar at the bottom, whereas there isn't one with IE6.0.

The problem lies there with Netscape which handles tables differently (albeit technically correctly) which gives the elongated pages.

If anyone is looking for alternative browsers to use rather than Internet Explorer one of the best is Firefox  available from http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

another is Avant which use IE as its base model but adds several useful functions
and is available from http://www.avantbrowser.com/

both browsers are free of charge.

I use Win XP & IE 6.
