JAMES CAPE JONES ADCOCK PORTER

James CAPE born May 23,1833 in Langford- Budville.  Married Elizabeth (Betsey) Jones in Bristol ( St Michaels) Nov. 8, 1853.
James was located in Bristol at age 18 (1851 census) living with a brother.  He was a Shoemaker by trade.  Came to the USA in 1857.  Settled first in NY, then Racine Wisconsin.

On the Jones side, Betsey was one of 9 children of Aaron and Betsey SIMPSON JONES.  Siblings were:
  • Isaac b 1842
  • Mary Ann b 1827
  • Hannah b 1824
  • Aaron b 1830
    • Louisa Adcock
    • John
    • Willie
    • Ada Porter
  • William b 1835 twin
  • Phillip b 1835 twin
  • John Durston b 1838
  • George Thompkins b 1841


Any information about the family would be appreciated, as I am traveling to the area in March 2005 and would like to connect with cousins.
