If anyone has access to the 1841 or 1851 censuses for Paglesham in Essex would it be possible to check for anyone with the surname ASHMAN and in particular William ASHMAN (born c. 1825).

I wasn't expecting that  Huh   I suppose the name might have been mis-spelt or mis-transcribed, unless they'd moved away from Paglesham and then returned later.
