Hi All,
Can anyone assist in finding any information about a Charles Jayes/Jeyes (said to be related to the Jeyes Fluid family) who married an Annie Winnall in 1888 in Aston, Warwickshire but had moved to Salford, Lancs by 1912.
It is said that Annie had about 20 Children but quite a few died.
Charles Jeyes/Jayes is said to have been in the army, serving in India and also WWI.  He is also said to have been a forger of banknotes and served time in jail for this offence.
Any information is gratefully received.
