Hi Lizzie

I have 1851 Wigton part 2 transcript but the family don't feature there.  Afraid I don't know of anyone currently doing lookups for 1851 Wigton part 1 but there is an online name index available at http://rolyg.members.beeb.net/2432Fols171-267withages.htm.  It isn't split into family groups but ages would suggest that your family is there?

Hopefully the 1841 will confirm for you, or am hearing rumours the Cumberland 1861 is coming to 1837online.com within the next month or so.

Cheers

Sue

Thank you for the details.re Armstrongs .confirms and fills in some loose ends and yes the neighbours are relativeS.

The Gray family are on the 1851 census and i thought they would be on wigton 1841 as  some of the children are born in wigton before then...could you look at Maryport in Cumberland for them as the son Charles was born there in 1837??? Cheesy
   Thanking you.................
