Hi Danielle, I have been looking at other Agers born in birdbrook around the turn of the 1800's and there families.I think some of the heads of the families in the 1841 and 1851 censuses for birdbrook are Elijah's brothers. His brother george married Caroline Taylor around the same time Elijah was married and they had a son Abraham and daughter Caroline. Essex cc record office are looking at the following to check there baptism records to see if there mums and dads were Mary and George James Joseph Thomas John Danial Fanny Isaac(born Birdbrook) Allof the above were born between1790 and1812 Ithink so were of the same generation of your Isaac.I have looked at all the censuses including 1831 which is a head count. Once I have the results from the record office I will contact you again. My next task is to find marriage and baptisms of George and Mary,Elijah's parents. Good Hunting John

Hi John, Sorry I haven't replied sooner but didn't see your post until today. I have found my paper work for Birdbrook and Steeple bumpstead.I have the parish baptisms from 1714 until 1783, marriges from 1777 till 1833[ which have Elijah and George marrying 2 days a part in 1823. I also have tried to find George and Mary but without success--I have found Geoge Ager marrying Ann Honsby in 1770 in Steeple bumpstead.
There was a Isaac that married Mary Ann Plum/Plumb in Birdbrook 1924, think this was the son of Abraham.
e-mail me direct on mflg05439@blueyonder.co.uk
Speak soon, Danielle

Hi Peter,
I have a George Ager born 1767 in Birdbrook on my tree. He was the brother of my 5 x g grandfather William Ager. As far as I know the parents of William, George and their various siblings were William and Jane (nee Alleston) Ager. I would love to know more about George Ager and his family as, although I have done quite a lot of research on William's line, I know next to nothing about his siblings.
Many thanks
Joanne
