hello, many thanks for all this info... excellent info and ties in with family.i am very interested in the addressess associated with 1861 Ychyldref, Merionethshire and 1891 census Llanferras, Denbighshire also 1901 census Efenechtyd, Denbighshire
i have an address from my father many years ago that was tywysog farm in henllan... i wonder were the addresses are in denbihshire in the 1891 and 1901 census. i have been trying to locate rebecca ellen roberts 1901 census 7 yrs old,,,i believe she was my grandmothers illegitimate daughter ( elizabeth roberts the mother and my grandmother on 1871 census) I NOTE REBECCA WAS BORN IN LIVERPOOL AND THEN RETURNED TO THE FAMILY... my grandmother married in liverpool in the late 1890's so everything ties up.. this is really very helpful and i must thank you again i would appreciate help re addresses from those census if possible ..
best regard alun jones

Hi. Here are the addresses for you. I only have the images and the addresses can be tricky to read (especially as they are in Welsh), but I'll do my best for you.
1861 census, Ty cerrig, Ychyldref 1871 census, Pencoed u[-]ha, Corwen 1891 census, Tyn llan, Llanferras 1901 census, Plas yn Llan, Efenechtyd

I am a descendant of Godfery Roberts, My grandfather Hugh was born at Nant Fawr. I did research around 20 years ago, all the information you have is correct.
The Rebecca you referred to lived in Ffordd Fawr Prion, My mother was very fond of her. She took me to meet her at the farm one day, when I was small (in the 1960's). We travelled by bus from Denbigh town - both she and her husband seemed very old to me then .
I have had heard my mother's sister Glenys speak of Lizzie. Glenys is now in her 80's and it would be worth you speaking to her. She has loads of knowledge about the family.
Let me know if you need further information to fill in your gaps etc. . .
Hope the info helps . . . .
Iori
