Death certificate in Western Australia Funeral Directors as Informants
« on: Tuesday 07 June 05 01:42 BST (UK) »

Hi All,

As it has been common practice is Western Australia in recent years for funeral directors to put their name as the informant on death certificates.  So when my mother died in 1996 I gave the funeral director all the necessary information and said that I was to be named as informant.  I got my own way, under informant was my name and instead of being named as daughter I was the disposer of the body.   When you hear someone calling "bring out your dead"  that will be me!!!
