Vital records index marriage CURTIS/BROWN

Can anyone help me with a look up please for a marriage btween James richard Curtis and Elizabeth Brown.

I have a rough date of marriage of about 1838 or earlier.

Elizabeth Brown was born about 1811 in Gravesend, I have not found her birth details.

I have found a possible birth for James Richard Curtis 10 March 1815  St George Gravesend, so the marriage may be in Gravesend.  I do not know exactly where he was born, he is a Sawyer by occupation.  I thought as his wife came from Gravesend I would look at this area to see if he was also born here.

I have the birth certificate of their first child John James Curtis Born 25/8/1839 in Stepney, so they were living in London in 1839.  I do not know if they had other children yet as I cannot find them on the census for 1841 and 1851.

In 1871 Elizabeth Brown is widowed living with her son John James Curtis in Tower Hamlets aged 60 from Gravesend.


Can anyone help me find a marriage between James Richard Curtis and Elizabeth Brown and can you help me with this research?
