1851 Census look up please

Hi,

Could someone please look up the following on the Shropshire 1851 census:-

William Smith b.  Withington, shrop. 1809
Mary (wife) born Atcham, shrop. abt. 1805

and

John Smith b. Withington, Shrop. 1782
Mary (wife) if still alive.

Both of the above will probably be living in Withington.

Hi Kaz,

This is from the 1851 census for Withington

William Smith, H, M, 40, Victualler?, Withington
Mary, W, M, 42, Atcham
Jane Cotton, Serv, 15, House maid, High Ercall
John Richards, Serv, 16, House serv, Atcham
Thomas Gittins, Lodger, 40, Ag lab, NK

The ages are out but this was the only William and Mary there.

There is no sign of John and Mary in Withington sadly

Hi Allie,

Thanks for the look up. I assumed John would live in Withington as he was born there and living there with William on the 61 census, but he must be living somewhere else, not to worry.
