Can anyone shed light on a marriage Smiley@1850 of
John Foster to " Risena", in 1851 census they are living in Marylebone, Risena does not appear again, He was born in Tring - she in what looks like Ellesborough

Although image reads "Risena", I think it should be Keziah, as John in 1881 is still married to Keziah and she is similar age to "Risena" and same p.o.b.

Probably with the different dialects, the enumerator misheard

There is also this marriage
Dec qtr 1850
Marylebone
on same page
John Foster
Keziah Grimsell

Thanks for that ,suzzard, the John Foster I seek is next door to his sister ? in this census, and his father appears to be visiting ,from Tring. this is my ancestor, William. I have  been looking for John's marriage for some time,he married Mary, and his son James was my gt grandfather. I had thought he might have married twice, the family come back to Tring to work at the silk mills.
I am rather confused!
