Christening Query

Help needed please.

I have a John Rance listed on the IGI as being christened on 13 Dec 1807 at Easthampstead Parish Church Berkshire.  Does anyone know the name of this church please.

The IGI also have the records as being in the Berkshire Records Office.  If someone is going there and could look this entry up I would be eternally grateful.

The church in Easthampstead was dedicated to St. Mary
and in the diocese of Oxford.
Sorry, I don't have PRs. Perhaps someone else will do a look-up at the BRO for you.

Do you know if your John Rance 1807 Easthamstead had a son James, born about 1846 Binfield (from1851 census)  If so he married one of my Sellwoods but I don't have the marriage date.  Can you help?

My John Rance did indeed have a son James born 1846 who married mary A Sellwood, the only date I have is as below
Rance  James   b: 1846   
m:   Sellwood Mary A   b: 1846   m: Dec ¼ 1866   

Children:   
Rance  Elizabeth   b: 1867   m:  Frederick Charles Chapman in June ¼ 1899 @  Wycombe  (1901 living in Battersea )
Rance Henry   b: 1870
Rance James   b: 1872
Rance Jessie   b: 1874
Rance Ethel   b: 1876
Rance Archibald   b: 1878

I don't have the exact date I'm afraid.  Hope this helps

Goodness.  I only joined this morning and already have made two contacts with people looking at the same families as I am. Yes,  it does help.  Thank you. I have just found the marriage on FreeBMD.  Another certificate for my ever growing wants list!!  Mary Ann Sellwood was my 3rd cousin 3 times removed.  Can you perhaps answer another question for me? On the 1851 census John Rance has a stepdaughter.  Do you know if she was the illegitimate daughter of his wife, or was Eliza married before.  Below is my transcript of the entry from Berks FHS CD.  It actually does say "daughter of Eliza Rance"

Sorry I don't have the answer to that one.  If or when I find out I'll let you know.  I haven't done much research on John yet.  It would be nice to know Mary's parentage if you don't mind.

I am related through Thomas Rance who was the youngest of John and Eliza's children.  He was my great-grandfather.

Sorry for the delay. Got carried away with something else.  Mary Ann Sellwood chr 1846 Bucklebury was the dau of George Sellwood chr 1818 Bucklebury and Elizabeth Simpson b 1824 Aston Berks or East Garston buried 8 Sept 1862 Bucklebury St Marys. 
George was my 2nd cousin 4 times removed but I know nothing about Elizabaeth except the disagreement on the censuses - in 1851 East Garston; in 1861 Aston
Mary Ann's siblings were:
Eliza 1849 -1935 marr Thomas Franklin 1873 Cold Ash Still there in 1901 no children (most unusual)
Henry 1851-1935? marr Clara Harriett Osgood 1851 - 1931? in 1882 Bucklebury  5 Children Still in Bucklebury 1901. The death dates come from the IGI and are not checked.
