Has anyone got an 1841 census for Lytchett Minster in 1841? I need to find
John Crumpler - H - M - Elizabeth - W - M - Thomas - S - U - 30 - Turners Puddle ?
I doubt that Thomas would be living with his parents at 30 years old, but have no way of finding information from before 1841. Does anyone have any records for Lytchett Minster from the early 1800's?
Thanking you in advance
Kindest regards
Ruth

Hi Ruth,
Have you tried the Dorset OPC pages yet. - www.dorset-opc.com ??
I had a look at the Lytchett Minster page, but that is still fairly new and only has the 1881 census on it.
However, not that far away, is Lytchett Matravers, and they have the 1841 and 1851 census there. I had a quick look and there seem to be several CRUMPLER families around; relatives of yours, maybe ??
Have a look and see if you recognise anybody !
Good luck Bob

Hi Bob,
yes I've been through the Dorset opc website and found all the Lytchett Matravers Crumplers. All relatives in one way or the other.
The Crumplers from Lytchett Minster are a new link, that I can't seem to find a connection to and I was hoping the 1841 census might hold the birth places for the parents of Thomas, as they don't seem to be anywhere else I've looked.
Kindest regards
Ruth

Hi I have had a look at the 1841 census for Lythcett Minster and Thomas was married.
Thomas Crumpler, age 30, labourer born in county Sarah Crumpler, age 25, born in county Ann age 3 George age 1
address Lytchett Minster HO 107 0288
there is no John or Elizabeth that would fit as his parents, there is a John but he is listed as 35 years old. The 1841 census does not give a specific place of birth merely whether they are born in county or not.
Hope this may help.
Nicky
