Applegarth burials
« on: Friday 10 June 05 16:07 UTC (UK) »

I was so pleased to find a list of people buried in Applegarth churchyard - but no sign of my Toulan family. Any idea where else they could be buried please?

Hiya Chris,

I had an impromptu visit to the library today to look for my Green's in Applegarth.  And a couple of Toulan's popped out at me from the burial indexes.

These seem to have been extracted in 1825 from older records by the new cleric.

It does not specify which churchyard the Toulan's were buried in (Applegarth or Sibbaldie).

From the Burial index...

James Toulan of Upperhalls March 1818 age 9m

Jean Toulan of Millhouse 29th October 1846 age 52

There may of been more I wasn't looking specifically.

Hope this helps,
Pam
