Would be grateful if anyone would be able to look the following family up for me on 1841 & 1851 census. I suspect the children listed are the last to be born so are hoping the search will reveal a few more. There may be a strong chance they moved to the area, as I have no luck in tracking down a birth certificate for my G.G granddad for this area (not sure though)

Sorry for not getting back sooner. The whole family is listed on the 1861 census as born in Staffordshire, Kingwinsford, although from past experience I have found some people tend to change their birth place to where they are living which adds great confusion.
Thanks for looking though. any thing you can find will be a great help Carol

Hi Donna,
Thanks for looking, the names seems to match but the ages don't the mother Elizabeth is shown as 56 in 1861 so there is a fairly big gap. I know Richard's (This is the main person I am trying to trace) Father was Edward as this is shown on his two marriage certificate's. He was 21 in 1866 & 50 in 1896 which means he was born 1845/6. I becoming more inclined to think that the family moved to Kingswinford rather actually being born here as stated on the 1861 census as I just keep hitting a brick wall. Is it possible to search the 51 & 41 census' for Edward with a son Richard??? Thanks for your help any way Carol
