Thankyou very much for all the information sent to me regarding the name Alexis. Some of this was already known to me, and some I already knew but have not been able to prove definitely that it relates to my family. I have searched
for years to find the origins of Nicholas Alexis and his wife Fanny, but without success. The death certificate of Nicholas as registered and found on FreeBMD is for a son of Nicholas and Fanny.
