1861 Look Up for Charles & Elizabeth King Aston Clinton Pls!

Hi!  Would like a 1861 look up please for

Charles King b. 1834 in Steeple Claydon
Wife Elizabeth (nee Rolfe Sharpe) King c. Nov. 1835 in Aylesbury

Might be living in Aston Clinton or Steeple/Middle Claydon or anywhere in between.  They would have just been married in June, 1860.


In 1851 Charles is in his parent's Household (William & Prudence Sarah King) @ Sand Hill, Steeple Claydon.

By 1871, Wife Elizabeth will have died, Charles will have remarried and has immigrated to the US in 1870.

So 1861 is only opportuntity to see his whereabouts with 1st wife Elizabeth and if a first child/children born to them. 
Only known child in Fanny born in Nov. 1866

Could this be them, living in Weston Road Aston Clinton Aylesbury?

Charles King head age 26 agr labourer born Steeple Claydon Bucks.

Elizabeth wife age 28 Born Bucklebury Berks.

No children.

Dear Waterfall, Nessie & Joe,  looks like you found 'em!   Grin

Elizabeth's bd is a little bit off BUT I have her christening date of Nov 25, 1835  so could be a gap between birth/christening or just the ususal date inconsistencies.   But Charles data is dead on so I'm sure it's them.

Always pays to look next door, doesn't it? 90% of my relatives have married the girl/guy next door (or down the block!!)

Joe, Not to be too greedy,  but any details on the Rolfe family?  I verified on IGI just this morning that Ann Rolfe m. Cyrus Sharp  in 1819 and their last known child was indeed 
Elizabeth Rolfe Sharp King.  So fairly positive whoever is next door is related.

Ann Rolfe's parents likely to be William & Elizabeth (but would be in their mid/late 80's if still living)  and found 3 other possible siblings tho' there may be more:
Mary        b. 1794
Elizabeth b. 1788
William    b. 1800

 Joe, you said ROLFE next door so I didn't mention Elizabeth's parents surname SHARP

Father:  Cyrus Sharp  bd 1792 in Leighton Buzzard
                                   found possible death in 1863

Mother   Ann Rolfe Sharp  bd  1795-1797
                                         possible death in 1844/45

Elizabeth Sharp's siblings: all christening dates
Sarah   1823
Mary     1824
John     1825
William  1828
Ann       1830
Hannah 1833

Maddie,  yes it is!!  That's them!   And Wife Ann died way earlier than I thought!

She must one of the Ann's on FreeBMD that died 1844 or 1845 but there was no age given to reference.

Though I'm wondering if "Anne" should be "Hannah"?   

Hannah w/ her father in 1851 @ 18  <bd 1833>  or else Ann b/c. 1830 was somewhere else in 1851 and came back home to Father's house in 1861.  Changing of the guard with the last unmarried dau to take care of Dad? 

........just mussing out loud.......sorry!......
