is there anyone who could help me with info on this Burr family line from Brooke and Howe mostly prior to 1860.
I have various names etc but am having difficulty proving connections and given the size of Brooke and Howe I would think the Burrs there were connected somehow
In particular I am trying to prove if there is a connection between John Burr born abt 1790 in either Brooke or Howe who died sometime between 1841 and 1851 and was married to Hannah. and to James Burr born abt 1791 Howe who married Frances Meeres (not sure of spelling) in 1814.
I appreciate your offer but I do actually have all census info - I am trying to tie some of the names I have together and for that I need pre 1837 parish records
Hi i am not sure if you have this info John Buur M=29/11/1820 at Brooke wife Hannah Meares
James Burr M=14/8/1814 Nch St peter Mountergate Frances Meeres,I am sure this is a miss spelling and should read Meares.Several Meares listed but not Meeres
Jeremiah Burr M= 9/03/1837Mary Amm Lighten I will not be going to the NRO for a few days but could look at the parish records
