don't know if you have this there is a stephen wallinger born 1749 in stagsden,beds. married elizabeth fowkes on the 26th july 1774 at stagsden,beds.
his death is reported as being on january 1815 at stagsden.
this is a submitted record from the IGI. so could be anything from fantasy to fact.

On the 1803 National Defence Muster [Stagsden] there is 18 year old unmarried George WALLINGER & married 41 year old Thomas WALLINGER...I expect Stephen was too old to be listed?  The cut off age was 55,
