Steel in Walsall and Oxford
« on: Sunday 12 June 05 12:00 BST (UK) »

My ancestor EMILY CHARLOTTE STEEL was born in 1859 in Digbeth/Walsall.
Her parents THOMAS and FANNY STEEL came from Oxford, he was a journeyman baker. They had four daughters. Does anybody have more information about this family?

Are you OK for 1881?
They are in Walsall Foreign, Charlotte is a widower, the 4 girls are still at home and unmarried.

This is 1891:

Dear Tanja!
Thank you very much for the information. I must have had the wrong name for the mother. I knew the names of three girls and the name of one husband - Moseley, so it`s the right family.
