1851 Census Havant area
« on: Monday 04 July 05 18:14 BST (UK) »

I am trying to find the birthplace of Thomas HILL and think he may be listed in the Havant area in 1851. He would have been single aged 16 or 17. The 1861 census at East Street Havant where his future wife came from says he was born in West Meon, but the parish registers there have no mention of him. Any help much appreciated.

Thank you Pauline. I eventually found Thomas Hill's baptism at West Meon on 06 Oct 1833 to Thomas and Sarah. I haven't been able to find their marriage yet however. Chris.
