Marriage 1885: TOLLERFIELD = DYKE

Could anyone help me here ?

I am looking for more details about Adelaide Elizabeth Wilson TOLLERFIELD.

I have found her on the 1881 census, named Ada TOLLERFIELD, working as a barmaid in Yeovil. Thereafter I believe she married a John Daniel Dyke in Q4 1885 in Barton Regis.

I would like to know the name of her father and any other details on her marriage certificate ?

Hi Paul,

Unless you know which church she was married in and so point someone in the direction of the correct parish registers, you won't be able to find out her father's name or any other detail unless you get the certificate.

These are the places covered by Barton Regis registration district:

Clifton (1877-98), Compton Greenfield, Filton, Henbury, Horfield, St. George (1877-98), St. James Out (1877-98), St. Paul Out (1877-98), St. Philip and St. Jacob Out (1877-98), Shirehampton, Stapleton (1877-98), Stoke Gifford, Westbury on Trym, Winterbourne.

Sorry to be so negative, but sometimes obtaining the certificate is the only way forward (or backwards, if you understand what I mean!)

As Tricia noticed with ec via a similar Hants census request, I was trying a bit of a two pronged attack on this one !!
