Hi,

The IGI at www.familysearch.org has William's christening on 20 April 1817
There also is a christening for a James Ivey in 1843, but to different parents. 

FreeBMD has a marriage in September 1843 at St Austell for William Ivey with a Harriett Hocking on the same page.
