Any references to the Emery name prior to 1850 would be appreciated

The ancestors lived here and there, in many scattered

There are 16 Emery's listed on the Derbyshire 1851 name index -

I looked them up in 1861 to give me some birthplaces to work on then cross-referenced them with the area's covered by the above reg. districts and came up with Roston & Winshill.  There are no Emery's in Winshill but I have identified one of the families above in Roston -
