Searching for relatives of my mother, Eva Logan born Maguiresbridge Co Fermanagh 1922. She was the daughter of Patrick Logan who moved to Bunnahesco nr Derryharney and was living in a thatched cottage (by Woods Nursery) in the middle to late 1940's. The family was quite large with some of the children having the following names: Eva,Annie,Martha,Francis,Mattie,Kathleen,Tommy,May and Tessa ( but not in birth order). Some of the family members moved to Belfast, Galway and Tipperary and also to mainland England (Birmingham/Coventry/London?)  Patrick Logan is buried in the Catholic cemetary at Maguiresbridge. I have the connecting names of Higgins (High Road Southwoodford, Essex, England and Chittington?). Any information please. Thanks to all

Hiya Lampgb,

The girls may be difficult to trace since several might be married.

Lets see if this search can be made somewhat easier. It will be hard enough, but not impossible, since since the family are well scattered. I looked for Logans in Fermanagh. Someone on this site http://www.nifhs.org/member's_interests_h-l.htm is researching the name on the Maguiresbridge side of Co. Fermanagh.
I also looked in The Phone Book for Northern Ireland 2003 and found a Logan still living at Maguiresbridge. I suggest you consider posting a message at http://www.enniskillen.com/craic/index.php as a local person may spot it and post some information to you.

Best Wishes,

Christopher
