Ford Cottages
« on: Tuesday 14 June 05 14:56 BST (UK) »

Hi,

I'm researching my fathers family tree (Ford) and it's rumoured that one of our ancestors (John Ford who was married to Ann Marnie) owned a set of properties called 'Ford Cottages' in Rossie Island/Broughty Ferry.

John was a shipmaster, and is believed to have died at sea c1865 (we can find no record of this, though).  After his death, Ann and the remainder of teh family moved to Dundee.

Can anyone help with this, please?!
