Am I a total idiot

I am trying to reply to several topics direct by personal message but having no luck.  (I have replied this way before)which is why I was getting confused, but now when I click on the author to bring up their profile box there is no 'send this member a personal message'.  What have I done or whats happened, I have obviously logged in OK or surely I wouldn't be able to write this. Huh??  Help

There was something that Trystan put on about this very recently. A member can't send IM's until he/she has made a few posts. Try another post and see if the box appears.
