Passenger Lists to Montreal 1888-1890

Is there any way of finding on  which ship my Gt Grandparents emigrated to Montreal.They were in Sheffield in 1888 their names John George Strickland wife Mary Jane[Polly] children John Lily Charles.In April 1890 Harriet was born in Montreal followed by Elizabeth in 1893.

Thank you for this information.I could'nt find the "right" Strickland" but have found another relative who emigrated to USA on the ellis Island site.

Montreal is in Quebec which is in Canada, so you want this to be put on the Emigrants to Canada forum I think Smiley

Also, someone sent you to Ellis Island but that is for ships arriving at Ellis Island (New York)

Montreal passenger lists for 1888-1890 are on microfilm but are not indexed.

Go here http://shipslists-online.rootschat.net/canada/ and choose MONTREAL to find out how to get the microfilm or what ships are online for this port and time
