Can anyone help with tracing parents of Arthur James Foster
b 10th July 1880 Driffield
d 8th Oct 1964 Otley
M 2nd April 1904 Primative Methodist Church Pocklington
to Alice Greenlaw/low
Have lots of info on him and her but nothing on his parents. there seem to have been a lot of Fosters in that area
It says in his obituary that his parents were Richard and Elizabeth but i cant seem to find anything on them.

any help would be appreciated have attached info on him that I have

Could this be him with his parents in the 1881 cencus, although father is John and mother Jane E ?

I have a connection to Richard Foster and wife Elizabeth on 1861 census
Richard age 39 Agg Lab
Elizabeth 36
Frances 13 dau
Elizabeth 11 dau
Alfred? 9 son
Mary 7 dau
william 5 son
Henry 3 son

They were living in london st Pocklington, but the same family on 1871 says richard is a widow, although at the moment i have no proof she died or when. He remarried by 1891 to Mary Craven.
