WYTHE in Suffolk
« on: Wednesday 15 June 05 08:19 BST (UK) »

As we step back in time to the 1830's one Mark GODBOLD was married to Charlotte CRICKMORE.  Following the death of Mark,
Charlotte would marry one William WYTHE in 1838 in the Dennington region Mark &
Charlotte's son Charles would keep the Godbold name.

Some of the scattered leaves of William & Charlotte and
kin of Charles Godbold through his Crickmore branch
would see the likes of Isaac Rodgers WYTHE.  Isaac would
marry one Emma PILGRIM about 1894 in Suffolk, England.

Samuel WYTHE would marry one Laura FORD, while
brother Charles GODBOLD would marry Jane STANNARD.

Over the years some of the connected names from Yorkshire to London, Canada and other locations would include Zelley,
Tilston, Shaw, Cherry, Sanderson, Fox, Hawkins, Girling,
Racicot, Rumsby,  and many more.

I have Wythes in my tree but they come from Framlingham in Suffolk which is about three miles from Dennington. I don't recognise the names you mention but there might be another branch of the family in Framlingham

I wonder if your Wythe's are the same Wythe's who join part of the Hearn Family Tree;

James Wythe      Susan Wythe  (Nee Hayes)

they had a daughter Sarah Wythe DOB: 7 Dec 1801
Married John Hearn Marriage date 13 Mar 1821 Framlingham
