I am interested in documenting my maternal grandfathers family. The 1901 Census shows my gt grandfather Thomas Symons was born C1869 in Bishops Hull but living in 59 Yarford, Kingston St Mary, Taunton. He had 9 children - Thomas (grandfather) born C1889, Alice C1892, Jack C1894, Laura C1896, George C1898 plus James, Harry, William, Sarah, & Flora all born >1901.
I would also like to have a photographic record of my ancestors and where they lived. When I return to the Uk (yes I live in the sun in Spain) I would like to visit the family villages. Can anyone shed some light on where Thomas senior lived in Bishops Hull, who his parents were etc?

Hi Wasnt having much joy in 71 so thought I would have a look at 91 first just to c if it also said Bishops Hull and yes it does! (Couldnt c any in 71) Re Ad first on page we have Oldbury Lodge next we have Barr Cottage (3 of them-u r in the middle one) Following them is Barr House...Hope that helps with location will have another go at 71
