Hello! I hope I'm posting this in the correct location.
Does anyone know what cemetery someone would be buried in if they died:
"St. Margaret of Antioch, Bowers Gifford, July 13, 1929"
I'm trying to figure out if this entry in the NBI is my ancestor Mary Ann Moore. I'd order the record but as you can imagine there are MANY Mary Ann Moores. This one seems to fit though.
bowers gifford isnt far from me let me look into the churches round there i'll get back to you

There is a photograph of the church at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/i.rose/bowersgifford.htm but sometimes the funeral service is held at a church but the burial (or cremation) takes place elsewhere e.g in a municipal cemetery. I can't guarantee that the following are the ones you need but they may be worth a try: Basildon & District Crematorium Church Road Bowers Gifford Pitsea Essex SS13 2HG Tel: (01268 584411) Pitsea Cemetery London Road Pitsea Essex SS13 2DX Tel: (01268 552132)
