Looking for further info on William Bewsher , married to Elizabeth Bewsher of Westmorland :have the following so far (thanks Willow 2670:)):

from the 1881 census:

Does anyone have any info from the 1871 census or details of marraige, Elizabeths maiden name etc??

You will get Elizabeth's maiden name if you can order a birth certificate for a child.  The youngest might be the best bet as you have a more definite age as he is 4 months.   Have you looked at FreeBMD?    It might be on there.   It is an unusual name which is a good start.

Here is the family in 1871, Transcribed as Berchied  Cool and although its very feint image it does say Bewsher
