hi jonathan, thanks for your reply..I am looking for the marriage of either a Joseph or Giovanni Guisani/Guissani to Mary Ann born Clerkenwell c 1845 (name unknown). I have looked in everywhere but cannot find reference to the marriage. Dates are 1860 to 1870.    Thanxs ...Tarina

Hi, I have found in the free BDM :- DEATHS

Mar 1855 Antonio Guissani  age not given West London 1c 60

Sept.1870 Joseph Guissani age 5 Holborn 1b 431

Dec.1879  William Ambrose Guissani age 0 Holborn 1b 511

Have you found Maryann on the 1881 census RG11 0358/74 6 St.James Buildings London could be a possibility.

Maryann widow age 34 Charwoman born London
Rose dau. age 10 born London

Hi Still looking,

There is a John on the 1901 census age 32 born Holborn living in Edmonton occupation is a wire worker.
also, Emma aged 50  born St.Pancras living Edmonton.
