Hi!
Maybe be a BIG shot in the dark….but looking for following family in 1841 in Steeple Claydon area

John King   b. 1783 in Steeple Claydon Buck
Wife Unity  (nee Barratt  --  many variations)  b. 1782 in Salcombe Regis, Devon

m. July 1806 in Ottery St. Mary

Children:   possible only the youngest will still be in family home in 1841

William 1808 b. Newton Poppleford or Ottery St. Mary
Edmund 1809
Thomas 1812
Ann  1815
Sarah 1816
Fanny 1817
Maria 1819
Charles 1825
Elizabeth 1828

John seems to have been in Army before or at time of marriage.
Do not know if continued w/ Army after marriage.

By 1851,  John & Unity living in Steeple Claydon, Buck, no children with them.  But John’s son (William & family)  and other relatives living near by.

Many many thanks for any info found.
