Hello karen, in order to help you I think we really need a bit more information than that, did you check out the beginners board on how to post requests? Check out a few requests here on this board that will give you some idea, what exactly are you trying to find?
We need to know an approximate year of birth, have you found the family in any census? do you have her parents information or her husbands? what were the names of the sons? Was Sargeant her maiden name or her married name, have you tried searching the General Register Office Index, there is a copy of that at the Berkshire Record Office, as well as at some other Record Offices, and at the Family Records Office in London, the index lists the references for Births Marriages and Deaths, again the Beginners section here on Rootschat will help you and give you some idea of where to start.
There are lots of links there to websites with lots of other information too.
